Lab Report
Problem: What effect do different body positions have on the heart rate?
Hypothesis: I believe standing up will increase your heart rate because when you stand up the blood goes all around your body so it has to pump more
Materials: logger pro, cord for logger pro, hand held heart beat monitor, cord for hand held heart beat monitor, logger pro software, and computer
Control: normal heart rate
Outside Variables: walking around, running, jogging
Conclusion: me standing up is a higher heart beat because the more you stand the more your muscles move and your blood flows so your heart needs to pump more
Steps: 1. Get logger pro and hand held heart rate measure
2. Plug in all cords and into the computer
3. Open logger pro
4. Change seconds to 240 seconds
5. Hold hand held heart measurer and put the cord in between
6. Press collect
7. Wait until 240 seconds are done while keeping really still
Paragraph: I made the conclusion that because i'm standing up that means my heart rate will increase. I saute the more you stand up the more work your muscles need which means your blood is pumped faster. So when your blood is pumped faster that increases your heart rate. So that was my reasoning and what i was thinking when i wrote my conclusion. And what i thought of when i wrote my hypothesis
